Nelson Mandela Africa Insitutue of Science and Technology

The Nelson Mandela African Institution of Science and Technology (NM-AIST) in Arusha is one in a network of Pan-African Institutions of Science and Technology located across Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA). These institutions, which are the proud brainchild of the late Nelson Mandela, envision training and developing the next generation of African scientists and engineers with a view to impacting profoundly on the continent's development through the application of Science, Engineering and Technology and Innovation (SETI).

West Kordufan University

West Kordofan University was established in 1997 to be a beacon of thought and scientific renaissance and a bridge of communication between the various states of Sudan with sources of knowledge and modern science, and a crucible in which the necessary cadres in all disciplines are prepared and trained for the participation of the local community

University of Sinnar

Sinnar University was established in 1993 , and the University Law was issued according to which it was established in 1995 , when its name was changed from Blue Nile University to Sinnar University. The Abu Naama College of Agriculture and Natural Resources, which was established in 1977 , was the first nucleus of the university

University of Kordofan

The University of Kordofan (Arabic: ?????????? ???????????? ) (informally Kordofan University) is one of the largest universities in Sudan located in El-Obeid 560 km to the southwest of Khartoum. It was founded in 1990 and is recognized as one of the top universities in Sudan. It features several institutes, academic units and research centres, including the Institute of Gum Arabic Research and Desertification Studies, the Centre for Intermediate Technology in Agriculture and a Deanship for Scientific Research and Postgraduate Studies.

University of Khartoum

In 1898 after Britain gained dominance in Sudan as part of a condominium arrangement, Lord Kitchener proposed founding a college in the memory of Gordon of Khartoum, who was killed in the Siege of Khartoum. The request for donations of ??100,000 to build the college was achieved in six weeks and the Gordon Memorial College was founded in 1902 with initially three schools - an industrial school and two higher primary schools and a small teachers training centre.

University of Gezira

The University of Gezira was established in 1975 in Wad Madni City in central Sudan. The university is close to one of the biggest agricultural projects in Africa--the Gezira Project. The school's main objective is to supply the project with high-calibre graduates. It is considered to be one of the leading universities in Sudan. It has a community-oriented educational model.

University of Gadarif

The University of Gadarif (also called Gedaref, Gedarif or El Gadarif) is a public university in the town of Al Qadarif, capital of the state of Al Qadarif in Sudan. The university was founded in 1990. Faculties include Medicine and Health Sciences, Computer Science and Information Technology, Economics and Administrative Sciences, Agricultural and Environmental, Education and Sharia and Islamic Studies.

Sudan University of Science and Technology

The establishment of Sudan University goes back deep into the modern history of Sudan, during the early stages of education development in the country. Starting with Khartoum Technical School (KTI), and then the Trade School in 1902, the Radiology School in 1932, the Art School in 1946, Khartoum Technical Institute in 1950, Shambat Agricultural Institute in 1954, the Institute of Music and Theater and finally the High Institute for Physical Education for Teachers.

Upper Nile University

Upper Nile University is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the large city of Khartoum and established in 1994. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, South Sudan, Upper Nile University (UNU) is a coeducational higher education institution. it offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study.
