Prof. Majaliwa Mwanjalolo (Congolese) holds  a Licence (5 years) in Applied Physics from the Institut Superieur Pedagogue de Bukavu (ISP-Bukavu), a Master's in Environmental Sciences, and Ph.D. in Soil and water management from Makerere University. He worked as an Associate Professor (2008-218) and Professor at Makerere University (2018-2020) at the Department of Geography, Geo-informatics, and climate sciences. He has been involved in several regional and international research initiatives. He has co-published more than 190 peer-reviewed articles in applied physics, ecology, remote sensing and GIS, hydrology, and climate science. He joined RUFRUM in 2021 and is currently the Manager of the Research, Innovation for Development at RFORUM Secretariat
